Storyline:

Black Swan is dramatic film where Nina (Portman) is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica (Hershey) who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

Review and my opinion:

I really liked this movie, Natalie Portman does an splendid job with her performance in Black Swan. You can actually see how ballet changes her gradually and makes her an insane person at the end of Black Swan. The film is worth it to watch and totally deserved the Oscar. It might be some times confusing but the end will surprise you. In conclusion, Black Swan is a great movie, download it, it's worth it to watch and you won't be disappointed. Just a little warning, check out the parental guide at IMDB before watching it because it has some scenes not apt for everyone. Other than that Black Swan deserves the chance to watch and what better than watching it in such great quality that you can only get on this blog.

Storyline:

When Alex gets bored of Zeke's failing magic tricks, she decides to use magic to make Zeke's tricks come true. Everything goes downhill when Zeke tells Harper he believes he is a wizard and is now booking a magic act at the sub station for a kid's birthday party. Since Justin and Harper are tired of Alex ruining things all the time, they decide to leave everything up to her. Harper, not wanting to let Zeke make a fool of himself, tells Alex to tell Zeke the truth about wizards, but she is reluctant to, as exposing wizardry to another mortal could get her kicked out of the wizard competition forever if anyone finds out.
